Wines of grapevine

The Serpentino was born in 2012. The name derives from the geological peculiarities of Castiglioncello and from the Serpentinite rock. Serpentinite is a magmatic rock belonging to the classic ophiolitic trilogy or green stones.
The Serpentine comes from a particle of mainly clayey soil and rich in limestone skeleton. The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes and after careful manual sorting they are put together.
The wine is straw-yellow in color, with notes of sage, peach, yellow apple, pineapple and wild flowers on the nose. On the palate the wine is fresh, savory, with evident mineral sensations.
